As a surgery we have been registered as a Parkrun Practice for several years. Dr Mervyn Thomas , Dr Shah, Dr Signy, and Dr Cross regularly attend the Park run at Preston Park and Hove Park.
We have several patients that also attend the event every Saturday, which begins at 09:00. We encourage all our patients to stay active and would actively like to promote the Parkrun which is free to all. The event is suitable for all and participant can walk, run, or jog. We are happy to encourage any new comers and would be happy to run/ walk or jog with them and can stay for tea after the run – if time allows.
The Park Run relies on weekly volunteers who assist in the facilitation of the event and therefore as a surgery our team will be volunteering during the Park Run on the 8th July 2023 at Preston Park – it would be lovely to see some of our patients taking park – please visit the Park Run website for more details.
