Dear Patient,
We are writing to inform you that as a practice, we have made the difficult decision to reduce the hours at our New Larchwood branch surgery from Thursday 1st April 2021.
Our new opening hours will be Monday and Wednesday mornings from 08:30 – 12:00 midday. A GP will be available during these times.
We want to continue to offer our patients outstanding clinical care for many years to come. After discussions with Brighton & Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), it was mutually agreed that it is not sustainable to continue operating the same number of hours due to continuity of care and the lone working of our staff.
This will not affect the level of care you receive from our GP’s, Nurses and Staff as we are able to provide you with improved services with longer operating hours at Carden Surgery. The local Pharmacy in Coldean will continue to be available for collection and ordering of prescriptions and will also be available to assist with any minor ailments you may have.
We have online services available, as well as telephone consultations, practice nurse appointments and a wider availability at Carden Surgery.
We will review the opening hours over the next 12 months. If you do have any queries or concerns, please put this in writing to Kelly Wheatman, Practice Manager.
